Through the Lollypop Woods....

to Candyland! So fan-tabulous!

I actually found a website detailing Candyland before I got here. And then my teacher told me about these really cool websites that sometimes have really good deals (I have a few more I'll be sharing with you in the nearish future.) Anyway, the other day, tickets to Candyland were 1/2 off, so we snatched some up.

Originally, we were going to go to Aukland today, and Candyland in a few weeks, however the rain here is not very nice, only coming on Fridays and Saturdays (no joke!) so we decided to go to Candyland today, and we will go to Aukland another day.

Here are some of my pictures. I had so much fun, I really was super excited, even though my pictures may look like I'm faking, I really am excited and had a blast.

I even got to make my own lollypop! Totally worth the $$$$$$$$$$ to go.

YAY!!! I was so excited when we got there.

Chocolate covered.

Looks so inviting and fun.

I got a big kick out of that fact that it's a mouth.

The doorway to fun.

I was trying to get a picture of the stretching machine in the background, but that old guy at the end of the row is blocking the view.

Mmmmmm..............Look at all that sugar.

I've been on a "thumbs up" kick since I've left for N.Z.

Making my lolly pop....

My precious.
This guy was super cool. Anyway, I asked if he would be in the picture with me. He made that lollypop.
Mmmmmm. World's biggest lollypop (replica)

The Candy Queen.

Uh-oh.
Part of the shop.

I like the "lollies" on top.

A chess board made out of chocolate! SO COOL!

To Hell and Back Again

And I've got the pictures to prove it!

Brimstone has never tasted so good.

***Disclaimer: I would just like to say, if it weren't for John and Amy I would not be able to go to places like this. They have provided for me tenfold and have made it possible for me to really experience different aspects of New Zealand.

For the Faint of Heart...

Be extremely jealous!

I rode in a Hot Air balloon Today. Can you believe that?!?! I never in a million years ever thought I would ever ride in a hot air balloon, but I did, and it was fabulous. Now get ready for picture overload (again.)

Getting the balloon ready.

Still getting the balloon ready.

The basket where I will be riding for the next hour or two.

Filling the balloon with a fan.
Filling the balloon with the hot air.
The balloon coming up off the ground.
Almost having the balloon ready
Getting ready to take off.
I'm not exactly sure what this picture is....

Yup. I'm going to ride in a balloon.
Waving goodbye to Amy and John and Sarah (and the kiddos.)
The lake as we were taking off.
Hamilton.

The lake still.
The lake and sunrise. Fabulous.
The city.
Temple View.
Downtown.
The cathedral from the sky. I have a picture of this from the ground.
The roundabout looked super cool from the sky.
Waikato River and Bridge street. Do you see the little boats that look like ducks. Hehe.

Waikato River.
Hamilton.
Getting further out of the city.

Our feel in the tiny basket.
Farms.
Little cows.
Farms.
Tiffany in the hot air balloon.

And believe it or not, I really did filter out how many pictuers I added to this post.... Maybe for fun another day I will add some more.
