I just got back from accompanying the international students on a trip to Raglan. I am exhausted, but had so much fun! I even went surfing! Though sadly, I don’t have any pictures of my surfing experience because the instructor told us not to bring our cameras, though in hindsight, we probably would have been okay bringing 1 or 2. I truly am going to miss these students.
We went to bridal veils, and fed some eels.
(I didn’t bring my good camera, so you can barely see it. Look for the darkish line next to the rock.)
Then we went to Raglan lookout point.
Then we trekked down the hill to go to the beach!
This is probably my new favourite picture.
My girlies. Anouk, (the white girl) is from France. Hence international student. In case any of you were confused. She was in my ESOL class. Lovely, lovely girl.
Flying Kites on the beach. SO FUN!

After we left the beach we went on a very flash boat for a very relaxing cruise around the harbor.
Yes, that is a BBQ grill on the boat.
And that’s pretty much the first day of the trip. I should have/could have taken a picture of our bus getting stuck, and of the surf school accommodation we stayed at, but alas, I did not. And as before mentioned, no surf pictures C’est la vie.
Well, I’m off to Middle Earth now. I’ll let you know if I see any hobbits
